1. **The type of dance floor used:
Dance is one of the most physical activities. Most dance footwear does not provide any cushioning or support. Dance with Joy Enterprises, Inc. has a special multi-purpose floor ideally suited for any movement activity including: tap, ballet, jazz, modern, clogging, ballroom, country and western, theatre dance, aerobics, martial arts, etc. Our Floating Dance Floor is comprised of thousands of foam blocks to help absorb the energy created while dancing, and a non-slip surface layer. Safety is the number one concern when it comes to dancing and we have you covered from the floor up! **Russellville Location Only.
2. Family owned and operated for the past 30 years!
In 1978 Mrs. Joy Murphy started her first studio. She taught her own classes & choreographed her own routines. Now, 30 years later, she is still teaching! Being a family oriented studio, Mrs. Joy has had the opportunity to instruct and be part of the lives of many families up to 3 generations. Most studios will have multiple instructors teaching classes. At Dance With Joy Studio the only instructors are Mrs. Joy & her daughter Mrs. Jessica. We keep our classes small and our students are like family. Each year we travel to learn from the Master Teachers so that we are up to date on our dance knowledge. We teach more than dance, we teach life skills.
3. Quality not Quantity!
The focus of our classes is for our students to learn the art of dance sport. We focus on creativity, technique & knowledge. While routines are a part of class, this is not the main goal. We keep small classes so that your child receives lots of personal attention. For ages 2-3 yrs we keep a 4:1 ratio, ages 4-5 we keep a 8:1 ratio, & ages 6 & up we keep a 10:1 ratio. If the class exceeds the enrollment limit, we will bring in an assistant instructor.
