Dance with Joy Enterprises, Inc. has a special multi-purpose floor ideally suited for any movement activity including: tap, ballet, jazz, modern, clogging, ballroom, country and western, theatre dance, aerobics, martial arts, etc. Our Floating Dance Floor is comprised of thousands of foam blocks to help absorb the energy created while dancing, and a non-slip surface layer. Safety is the number one concern when it comes to dancing and we have you covered from the floor up! **Russellville Location Only.
2. Family owned and operated for over 30 years!
In 1979 Mrs. Joy Murphy opened her first studio located in Russellville and her second studio located in Ozark. She also worked as an adjunct instructor teaching dance and fitness classes for Arkansas Tech University Continuing Education . Now, 30+ years later, she is still sharing her knowledge and love of the art of dance. The studio operates full time, year around offering classes to ages 2-Adult. Our focus is solely on dance, fitness, party rentals & DJ services. Being a family oriented studio has blessed us with the opportunity to instruct and be part of the lives of 3 generations of families. Now classes are shared with her daughter, Jessica Askew Russo, the second generation. We further our education annually with the Master Teachers of dance. Traveling abroad keeps our curriculum fresh and our knowledge updated. We teach more than dance, we teach life skills.
3. Quality not Quantity!
The focus of our classes is for students to learn the art of dance as a sport while developing their personal style and ability. We focus on creativity, technique & knowledge. While routines are a part of class, curriculum is the main goal. Quality developmental skills prepare the mind and body for healthy results encouraging a positive lifestyle. We offer small group classes and private instruction ensuring personal attention to each student. For ages 2-3 yrs we keep a 6:1 ratio, ages 4-5 we keep a 8:1 ratio, & ages 6 & up we keep a 10:1 ratio. If the class exceeds the enrollment limit, we will bring in an assistant instructor.
